Zalo put for security and order management

​This is considered a good way of the Provincial Police in AR as well as crime prevention and control.

Easy for people to update information 

According to Senior colonel Vu Hong Van, Director of the Provincial Police, the goal of a synchronized and comprehensive implementation of Zalo pages of the Provincial Police and the police of units and localities is to best meet requirements of settling administrative procedures for organizations and citizens in the filed under the scope of state management on security and order (SAO) of the provincial police.

In addition, establishment and testing of Zalo application to construct information sites for the provincial police and police of units and localities is necessary, in order to enhance the application of information technology in the field of state management on security and effectively serve the reform of administrative procedures in the direction of creating favorable conditions for organizations, businesses and people.

In particular, it is mainly focused on propaganda to ensure security and order in the province; and receive criminal reports as well as information and feedback on issues related to security and order. In addition, Zalo pages, depending on the authority of the police at all levels from province to commune, will provide people with necessary administrative procedures such as: issuing and renewing identity cards and household registration; making vehicle registration and management; receiving questions and responding to enterprises about administrative procedures in the field of fire prevention, fighting, security and order, etc.

After deploying the Zalo pages, the leaders of the provincial police asked the party committee and police heads of units and localities to clearly define responsibilities of the head to deploy and grasp the practice to all officers and soldiers on AR. The units and localities must consider it as a key and regular task in the coming time.

Creating connections with people  

Implementing the mentioned - above plan, for the past time, the police of units and localities in the province have simultaneously deployed their own Zalo page to reach and interact with people. Accordingly, people only need to use phones with Zalo installed to access the Zalo pages of the Provincial Police and local police easily. On that basis, depending on the needs, each citizen can learn and grasp relevant administrative procedures.

Mr. Tong Van Phuc, residing in Quarter 5, Tan Hiep ward (Bien Hoa city) said that when the ward police announced the deployment of Zalo page of Tan Hiep Ward Police, he and many people in the neighborhood updated and follow it up. Thereby, he could easily learn necessary administrative procedures. Especially, people could conveniently send information and denounce crimes.

"Previously, people had to send letters or go directly to the ward police to report and denounce criminals, but now through Zalo, they are enabled to report news easily and quickly. In particular, the reflected information is also guaranteed to be confidential," said Phuc.

Lieutenant Colonel Mai Duong, Deputy Head of the Police Department of Tan Hiep Ward (Bien Hoa City) said that it is very effective to receive information and denounce crimes from people through Zalo. Through this channel, people can provide information, images and clips about the subject to the police station. On that basis, the police force can easily grasp the case and have a basis to deal with it.

Meanwhile, according to Bien Hoa City Police, the deployment of Zalo pages to all people initially had positive results. In which, many feedbacks from people have been recorded and processed by the police. This information is very valuable to serve investigation and handling of cases related to security and order. With positive interactions, in the coming time, this form is expected to be a useful information channel for both the people and the police in resolving issues related to security and administrative procedures.

According to the provincial police, all citizens can access Zalo pages of police of units and localities where they reside through phones or computers with the application installed. Accordingly, on the Zalo interface, people just need to type to search for the name of the unit they are interested in to access. Therein, all categories are displayed for visitors to follow and reflect on information.
