WP - This morning, August 31st, the Provincial Steering Committee for Food Safety and Hygiene has just issued Office letter No. 5067/BCD-ATTP to suggest departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities to strengthen inspection and supervision on food establishments trading food and vegetarian food services in the locality.

During the inspection process, the provincial interdisciplinary inspection team proactively recovered and sealed food products by Loi Song Moi Company such as Minh Chay pâté, Mushroom pâté, Premium salted shredded Heri mushroom, Special roasted sesame and salt, Salted shredded Heri mushroomp with herbal flavor, Wheat pie, Traditional roasted peanut and salt, Roasted cinnamon pie, Precious sesame and salt, Mushroom Pie with wheat, Traditional salted shredded mushroom, Salted shredded mushroom with lemongrass and chili pepper, Salted shredded mushroom with garlic).
Consumers are provided with emergency warning information on the mass media to temporarily refrain from buying or using the products of Loi Song Moi Company and notify the local medical authorities if the products is still available. For Minh Chay pâté, it is required to stop using the product immediately, seal the product and the rest of it (if any) and store in a separate area. For those who have used the product need to be monitored, if there are abnormal signs of health, it is necessary to immediately go to the nearest medical facility for prompt examination and handling. It is requested that the Departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities to quickly organize the implementation and report the results to the Steering Committee for Food Safety and Hygiene to synthesize and report to the Department of Food Safety and Ministry of Health. For the Health sector, the Department of Health assigns the Food Safety and Hygiene Branch to set up an inspection team, organize inspection on food safety and summarize implementation results of the whole province.
