Da Nang returns to normal passenger transportation

WEB PORTAL - On the afternoon of September 6, the Ministry of Transport instructed the Directorate for Roads of Viet Nam, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, Railway Authority and Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration to inform enterprises that all passenger transportation can resume operations to pre-Covid-19 outbreak levels from 0:00 on September 7 in Da Nang city.


Passengers are still required to file a medical report and wear masks, recommend setting up Bluezone to warn of COVID-19 infection. Vehicles departing from Da Nang must implement social distancing between passengers.

 

Da Nang had eased its social distancing campaign starting September 5 after bringing its Covid-19 outbreak under control. It now allows restaurants, shops, food and beverage establishments to offer takeaway services.

 

Da Nang had previously asked the Ministry of Transport to restoration of domestic transportation of road, railway, and airway routes to and from the city in order to restore economic development and ensure social security.

 

Due to the epidemic effect, flights, buses, as well as trains to and from Da Nang had to cease operations completely since 0:00 am on July 28.
