Danang returnees required to undergo 14-day quarantine at home

WEB PORTAL The Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 10913/UBND-KGVX to its agencies, departments, unions and localities to monitor people coming or returning from Danang in the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.​


Specifically, for comers or returnees from Danang city, upon their arrival in Dong Nai, they must contact the People's Committee, commune/ward/town medical station where they reside to register for medical declaration and to be instructed to self-monitor at home for 14 days. 

 

If someone is showing any symptoms linked to COVID-19 such as fever, cough, breathing difficulties, sore throat, stuffy or runny nose, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, etc., they should seek medical authorities immediately for prompt examination and testing.

 

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Health to direct medical units and facilities, especially commune/ward/town medical stations to advise the People's Committee to coordinate with the Police and the local Military Command Board to monitor Danang returnees on their home-based quarantine according to regulations.

 

People's Committees of districts and cities are responsible for directing the management of people arriving and returning from Da Nang city in their localities. Requesting the People's Committee, health station, police, officials of communes, wards and towns to coordinate in implementing well the management of the above cases, ensuring local regulations and safety against COVID-19 epidemic.
