In the academic year 2020-2021, TNU University of Sciences of Thai Nguyen University (Located in Tan Thinh Ward, Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province) will pilot development of special support policies for the above mentioned students including: Exempting dorm fees for the entire 4-year course; paying for transport from the locality to the University of Sciences for admission (the first leg) and from the University to the locality after graduating from the university (the second leg); giving priority to introduce internships and practical activities at financial aid facilities for students; granting a number of scholarships for each academic year; waiving 100% tuition fees for the whole course and supporting living cost of 2 million VND/ month averagely for ethnic minority students with very few people in economically disadvantaged and extremely difficult areas; and waiving 100% tuition fees for the whole course and an average financial support of 1.5 million VND/ month for ethnic minority students who are poor and near poor; the remaining subjects (including candidates who are Kinh people) whose permanent registration is in mountainous areas with difficult economic conditions but with the spirit of overcoming difficulties in study will be reduced from 50% - 70% of the full course tuition fee and monthly living expenses support with an average amount of 1.5 million VND.

Regarding the training program, TNU University of Sciences focuses on training high-quality oriented key programs with 3 majors and 12 majors under the mass program. Candidates who have graduated from high school wishing to register through the online system of the University and the University's admission will be executed according to the results of the high school graduation exam in 2020 or the study results recorded in the school report.
