Similarly, according to the representative of MM Mega Market Bien Hoa, the quantity of goods at the supermarket is quite stable, the supermarket is also preparing the stock of goods to increase by about 10% compared to normal days, mainly essential goods, dry food, canned food, etc.

 

Mr. Nguyen Le Cao Tuan, Director of Lotte Mart Dong Nai said, the quantity of goods at the supermarket is guaranteed. In addition to the amount of goods in stock, the supermarket has also prepared a stockpiling plan for essential goods to increase about 20% compared to normal days with stable prices. Surveyed at large traditional markets of the province such as Bien Hoa market, Tan Hiep market (Bien Hoa city), Long Thanh market (Long Thanh district), Phuong Lam market (Tan Phu district), the amount of necessities is plentiful and stable.

Taking measures to prevent epidemics

 

Mr. Nguyen Danh Thinh, Director of Phuong Lam Trade and Service Cooperative, Head of Phuong Lam Market Management Board (Tan Phu District), said that the market regularly organizes disinfectant spraying in some areas of the market, arranging areas for customers to go to the market to wash their hands; while recommending small traders and people to regularly wear masks, keeping a safe distance of at least 1m when shopping, arranging a separate area for suspected cases while waiting for the authorities to check and handle, etc.

 

According to the survey, many supermarkets, trade centers, convenience store chains, traditional markets, etc., are actively implementing activities such as: measure body-temperature, wash hands with antiseptic for customers before shopping; appropriate entrance and exit arrangement, ensuring a safe distance; splash screens were arranged at transaction counters; staff wear gloves, masks, splash shields…; strengthen the propaganda of COVID-19 prevention measures on the loudspeaker system, bulletin board is placed in front of the entrance to markets, supermarkets...

 

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the units and enterprises doing business in supermarkets and trade centers need to strengthen and promote the business of selling goods by phone, over the Internet, and home delivery; depending on the actual situation, it is possible to propose solutions to avoid congestion, gather people; avoiding consolidation of some objects leading to scarcity of goods, virtual "price fever", and so on.

 

Mr. Vu Thanh Tan, Head of Communication Department of BigC Supermarket, said that at present, BigC supermarkets across the country in general and in Dong Nai including BigC Dong Nai and BigC Tan Hiep in particular have actively prepared all essential items, committed not to increase commodity prices; Increase and mobilize maximum customer service staff.
