According to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority,
total enterprises’ revenue in industrial zones (Izs) of this province in the
first 7 months of 2020 reached more than USD 11.3 billion, were down 4%
year-over-year. In which, export was nearly USD 7.55 billion, equaling 98% over
the same period last year, and domestic consumption was over USD 3.75 billion,
down 7%. The reason for drop in demand for export and domestic consumption
caused by COVID-19 epidemic, which makes many businesses face difficult
decisions regarding their product markets.

Since the start of year, the export turnover of province’s enterprises
to large markets such as the United States, Europe, Japan, Korea and China all dropped.
Due to swift and complicated developments of the COVID-19 in Vietnam and
worldwide, the nterprises’ production and consumption will likely lead to face
difficulties in both domestic and export markets in the coming time..
