Taking on the role of the Head of the Production Department, Ms. Van Thi Binh, working at Yupoong Vietnam Co., Ltd (Bien Hoa city) always knows how to properly coordinate the work, helping the workshop exceed the quantity of monthly products. Thereby, her income and the workers in the factory has also increased.
Ms. Binh said that in 2009, she worked as a hat sewing worker at the company. Thanks to the fast sewing and creating the highlights of the product, after 3 years of working, she was promoted to be the Head of the Production Department. Every day, she monitors the workers, arranges orders and assigns jobs to workers. With her dynamism and ingenuity, she always creates a spirit of solidarity in the team, helps workers feel secure to work and increase their income.
In 2017, Ms. Binh was elected by the labor collective as a member of the Company's Grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee. Since then, she has actively taken care of the union life, proposing many reasonable policies to improve the workers' lives such as: supporting female employees with child support, housing allowance, and arranging housework for pregnant female workers, etc.
In addition, Ms. Binh aslo cares about supporting labor with difficult circumstances and serious diseases, while paying close attention to the union's life, always sharing so that workers can overcome difficulties and work with peace of mind. At the same time, she actively contributes ideas and innovates Trade Union activities in enterprises. Recently, Ms. Binh was honored by the Trade Union of Bien Hoa Industrial Park with medal of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for her many achievements in Trade Union activities.
* Many useful initiatives
Boldly propose to enterprises to equip seats for pregnant female workers; Investing in foot mats to prevent slipping for garment workers, etc., which is one of the jobs that Ms. Tran Thi Thanh, Team leader of the garment factory Eclat Textile Co., Ltd.( Vietnam) (Nhon Trach District) has done to bring benefits to the employees. With 12 years of working, Ms. Thanh always monitors the working reality of workers to make timely recommendations, creating the safest and most comfortable working environment.
Ms. Thanh said that she herself is also a worker, so she understands the workers' difficulties and concerns when working. Many stages, parts that workers have to do very hard, if there is no attention and improvement in the position of each job, it is difficult to achieve good quality products.
With the duties of a team leader, managing 50 garment workers, Ms. Thanh always skillfully encourages the workers to work with gentle. According to Ms. Thanh, to achieve good products and meet enterprise’s demand, it is important to create a comfortable working spirit for the workers. The manager should know how to work scientifically, encourage his/her workers to promote skills, should not be too imposing. In this way, the workers will show respect to their leader and cooperate in work.
* Industrious and hard-working
For 8 years working with Minh Thanh Company Limited (Vinh Cuu District), Huynh Van Minh, from pre-sanding and wood assembly worker, has strived to become a inspector with an income of over VND 10 million/month. Mr. Minh said that this is also the motivation for him to contribute more to the company’s development.
With his diligence and always innovating in work, after only 2 years as a worker, he was promoted to be a shopkeeper by the enterprise's advisory manager. Mr. Minh said that due to his experience and techniques in product assembly at the company such as cabinets, tables, chairs, etc., accepting a new job is not difficult for him. In new position, he always ‘goes out early, comes home late’ to complete the inspection work, while checking and reminding workers to work with correct techniques and science before assembling finished products. Also from the hard work of the workers, he also proposed to make trolleys, tidy corners so that the packing workers do not have to move as much as before.
“As a wood worker, if you comply with the working rules, pay attention to wood production techniques to create satisfactory products, your employer will give trust and assign jobs in key and important positions. This is also an opportunity for me to develop my skills and assert myself” - Mr. Minh expressed.
Currently, in addition to checking all products before exporting to overseas, Mr. Minh also instructs young workers to quickly approach their jobs. Besides, for products that are not of the right quality and design, he also encourages his workers to work overtime and directly model them for them to study. Thanks to that, in the 7 months of 2020, the orders at the factory always meet the requirements and plans.
