Previously, on July 6, the Investigation Police Agency of My Tho City Public Security (Tien Giang Province) issued a decision to prosecute the case of spreading dangerous infectious diseases to people and continue to consolidate the initial file to be strictly handled according to the provisions of law. This is a case involving two bank employees in My Tho City who are F0 but hid, did not cooperate, declared to the staff of epidemic prevention and control, leading to the spread of dozens of infections and spread to many places in My Tho City.
In Dong Nai, authorities also strictly handled many violations related to disease prevention and control. According to the provincial Public Security, when the fourth Covid-19 epidemic wave broke out from the end of April 2021, the whole province had dozens of cases related to Covid-19 prevention and control activities that were filed by local police for investigation.
Most recently on July 4, the police of Gia Tan 1 Commune (Thong Nhat District) made a file to sanction an administrative violation against Ms. PTT (36 years old, living in Doc Mo 1 Hamlet, Gia Tan Commune 1), and Mrs. PTAH (56 years old, living in Long Duc 2 Hamlet, Gia Tan Commune 2) with VND2.5 million each for threatening, insulting the honor and dignity of people on duty to prevent and control the epidemic Covid-19 disease specified in Decree 167/2013/ND-CP dated November 12, 2013 of the Government on sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of security, order, social safety, prevention and control, society's vices.
Previously, on July 3, when the appropriate authorities were on duty at the blockade at the beginning of the inter-district road in the area of Doc Mo 1 Hamlet, Gia Tan 1 Commune, they saw Mrs. T and Mrs. H. passing by. When the force on duty at the checkpoint to control the epidemic did not allow these people to pass through the checkpoint, both of them cursed, and insulted the officials on duty here. The case was then filed by Gia Tan 1 Commune Police to handle according to regulations.

Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security, said that facing the above situation, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Public Security directed the Criminal Police Department and the Internal Political Security Department of the Provincial Public Security to actively coordinate with the relevant sectors and local authorities have implemented many measures to promptly prevent and strictly handle violators.
During the recent outbreaks of the Covid-19 epidemic, in the province, police units and localities have coordinated with authorized agencies to make records and handle dozens of cases of posting false information about the Covid-19 epidemic situation on social statuses (Zalo, Facebook) caused confusion among public community.
Most recently, on July 9, Thong Nhat District Public Security made a record of sanctioning administrative violations against Mr. P.V.T. (living in Gia Tan 3 Commune) and Ms. T.T.A.T. (Living in Gia Kiem Commune) the total amount is VND25 million based on Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP dated September 28, 2020 of the Government on sanctioning of administrative violations in the health sector.
On the evening of July 8th, Thong Nhat District Public Security discovered that Mr. T. used the social network Facebook to post information "a positive test case on 5-7 near Ong Hoang Bridge has been quarantined". According to the leader of the Provincial Public Security, in the context of the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province, it is the time that more than ever when the appropriate authorities need the cooperation of the people to prevent the spread of the virus, fight against the disease. For cases of violations, obstructions, and false information that cause confusion in public opinion and affect epidemic prevention and control, the police force will resolutely handle them.
Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quang said that the Board of Directors of the Provincial Public Security has directed the police of units and localities to regularly follow the area, especially at the epidemic prevention checkpoints in the gateway areas and blockade areas.
