The United States is the province's largest export market
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first 6 months of 2021, enterprises in Dong Nai province exported nearly US$3.5 billion to the US market, up 44.8% over the same period last year. The United States is currently Dong Nai's largest export market, accounting for more than 30% of the province's total export turnover. The items that the US imported a lot from Dong Nai in the first 6 months of the year were footwear with US$891 million; Wood products with US$763 million; Textile and garment with US$329 million; Machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts about US$297 million. Currently, the United States is also the province's largest export surplus market with nearly US$2.7 billion.
Dong Nai imports from the United States mainly raw materials for production such as corn, animal feed, cotton, machinery and equipment, accounting for about 80% of import turnover.
