Provincial People's Committee has just sent an urgent document to the departments, agencies and sectors; Provincial Public Security; Provincial Military Headquarters; People's Committees of districts and cities and companies and enterprises in the province on welcoming people from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai Province.


Accordingly, the People's Committees of districts and cities direct the commune-level People's Committees to assign Public Security forces, health workers, residential groups, villages, hamlets, community COVID groups, and local mass organizations to review and detect and organize isolation at home, accommodation, take samples for testing, guide self-monitoring of health after the end of isolation for all people returning from Ho Chi Minh City according to regulations.

Request people returning from Ho Chi Minh City to voluntarily make medical declarations at health stations in communes, wards and townships to take measures to prevent and control the epidemic.

The Department of Health, the Health Center guides, inspects and supervises the communes, wards and townships to isolate themselves at home, take samples for testing and monitor the health of people returning from Ho Chi Minh City. If a positive case is detected, it must be urgently isolated, quickly traced, localized, and thoroughly suppressed.

The time of home medical isolation for people returning from Ho Chi Minh City is 14 days from the date of arrival in Dong Nai Province and testing is performed 3 times on the 1st, 7th and 13th day during the period. Medical isolation at home. Continue self-monitoring for the next 14 days from the end of isolation. During the self-monitoring period, the quarantined person is required to limit contact with people around, not to participate in activities that gather in large numbers. If there are signs of fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or signs of loss of taste, you must immediately report to the nearest Health Station, Medical Center or Hospital for instructions on timely handling.

Assign the Provincial Public Security to direct the checkpoints to strengthen inspection and control of people from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai Province. It is necessary to check and compare the SARS-CoV-2 test result paper with the ID document to make sure the papers belong to the owner. For workers, laborers, experts working at the companies in the province (not subject to the above-mentioned home quarantine), it is necessary to present an employee card with the stamp of the company where the company is located.

The Department of Health shall direct, guide, inspect and report on the results of receiving and managing people from Ho Chi Minh City to localities throughout the province.
