Recently, Hwaseung Vina Co., Ltd (Nhon Trach District) also donated VND4.5 billion to the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province. The company's representative said that businesses always believe and appreciate the efforts of the Vietnamese Government as well as Dong Nai province in disease prevention and control as well as stably maintaining production and business activities, develop the provincial economy. The company hopes that Dong Nai will soon have a vaccine to vaccinate the people and workforce in the area. Currently, businesses always take 5K measures at work to continue stabilizing production and at the same time prepare vaccination plans for officials and employees when the State provides vaccines for businesses. Previously, the company had registered to buy 60,000 doses of vaccine to inject Covid-19 for employees working at the company.
At Olam Vietnam Co., Ltd., Mr. Ravindranath Balakrishnan, Deputy General Director, said that the company currently has 27 factories, of which 12 factories and business units are in operation in Dong Nai. Facing the increasingly complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the company's leaders realized that contributing a part of the funding together with the whole country in general and Dong Nai in particular is a very meaningful activity. Therefore, with the desire to continue to show social responsibility to the community and the locality, the company's leadership decided to sponsor a total amount of more than VND5.2 billion, of which the branch company in Dong Nai supported VND1.5 billion to the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 prevention and control.

In addition to the above enterprises, a number of companies with a large number of workers also promoted support activities to the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 prevention and control such as: Chang shin Vietnam Co., Ltd and its workers donated VND3 billion, Pou chen Group donated VND5 billion, Taekwang Vina Industrial Joint Stock Company donated US$300,000, Long Thanh Golf Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company donated the diagnosis equipment worth VND5.2 billion to Thong Nhat General Hospital; Bien Hoa Packaging Joint Stock Company (Sovi) donated 200 cardboard bed.

The total value of the two testing machines is VND10.5 billion. In addition, the company has actively sponsored the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund of the province and the central government with a total amount of VND32 billion. Hyosung Vietnam Company currently has 7,000 employees, over the past time, the company has made efforts to implement the dual goal of fighting the Covid-19 epidemic and stabilizing production. In addition, the company has prepared for foreign workers to temporarily stay at the enterprise, preventing the disease from spreading into the enterprise.
Meanwhile, in order to work with the local government to effectively implement disease prevention and control and have funds to buy Covid-19 vaccine for the people, the employees and the Trade Union of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation have agreed with the General Company spends a welfare fund of VND500 million to support the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 prevention and control. In addition, the Corporation's Trade Union has spent from the Trade Union fund to buy equipment for disease prevention and control, with a total amount of over VND32 million. Also performing social responsibility, towards the community, the grassroots Trade Union and Pou chen Vietnam Co., Ltd (Bien Hoa City) always respond to charity activities such as: supporting the flood victims in the central region of Vietnam, building charity houses, giving gifts to poor workers. Recently, the company's Trade Union has supported the consumption of over 17 tons of Bac Giang lychee among workers working at the company.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Phap, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union said that, following the call of the Bac Giang Provincial Confederation of Labor and the Dong Nai Market Surveillance to support Bac Giang lychee consumption, the company's Trade Union responded and implement the program throughout the company. Accordingly, the Trade Union has propagated this practical and humane program to all Trade Union officials in the factory and the company’s workers who registered to buy and support thousands of tons of lychee for Bac Giang farmers.
In addition to promoting social responsibility in disease prevention and control, many businesses in the province also regularly organize community-oriented activities such as building houses for the poor, giving gifts to the poor, giving scholarships for poor studious students, supporting workers and workers' children suffering from serious diseases.
A representative of Olam Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that, since 2015, the company has built 7 houses for the poor in many communes in the province such as Gia Canh, La Nga (Dinh Quan District), Phu Thanh (Tan Phu District), Suoi Cao (Xuan Loc District). Each house is worth between VND40-60 million. In addition, in 2020, the company gave gifts to the poor on the Tet holidays with a total budget of VND400 million.
