On July 14, Mr. Phan Huy Anh Vu, Director of the Department of Health said that the province had just recorded 65 positive cases of Covid-19, down from July 12 and 13. In which, Bien Hoa City recorded 26 cases, scattered in wards. Nhon Trach District had 17 cases, concentrated in the outbreak in Long Tan Commune. Vinh Cuu District had 6 cases, mainly related to the outbreak in Chang shin Company, 5 cases found in Trang Bom District, and 2 cases found in Thong Nhat District. The total number of positive cases with Covid-19 in the 4th epidemic in the province is 520 cases, including 266 cases recorded in the community, the rest in isolation and blockade areas.
Leaders of the health sector said that the outbreak in Thong Nhat District was basically under control. The activity of tracing outbreaks in Bien Hoa City is continuing to be actively carried out, basically managing and isolating risk subjects.
Through screening tests, many businesses in districts of Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Nhon Trach and Bien Hoa city have been found positive for Covid-19. There have been a number of companies that have recorded groups of positive cases such as Chang shin Co., Ltd., Nam Yang Company, etc. Most of the districts and cities have recorded new positive cases.
Thus, with the complicated source of infection from epidemic areas outside the province and from secondary outbreaks in the province, the Covid-19 epidemic is infecting the community in the province and tends to spread quickly and widely in other regions and into the Industrial Zones. The trends are complex and difficult to control.
Therefore, localities in the province should continue to urgently investigate and trace outbreaks to blockade and handle promptly. Continue to screen and detect outbreaks in markets and dormitories, especially in the Industrial Zones to take the earliest measures to prevent the disease from spreading in the community.
