Traffic separation for goods carrying vehicles

The Department of Transport has just issued a document guiding the traffic separation for vehicles as well as the traffic route for transport of goods and passengers when passing through Dong Nai Province in order to create a "green lane" for vehicles of goods, workers and experts when leaving, entering, transiting Dong Nai as well as going to Ho Chi Minh City during the isolation period according to The Directive No.16 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.


Accordingly, the traffic direction from Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong to Binh Thuan and vice versa:

Route 1: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong → Tan Van → National Highway 51 → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → National Highway 1 → Binh Thuan and vice versa.

Route 2: Ho Chi Minh City → Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway → National Highway 1 → Binh Thuan and vice versa.

Traffic direction from Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong to Lam Dong and vice versa:

Route 1: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong → Tan Van → National Highway 51 → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → National Highway 1 → National Highway 20 → Lam Dong and vice versa.

Route 2: Ho Chi Minh City → Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway → National Highway 1 → National Highway 20 → Lam Dong and vice versa.

Traffic direction from Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong to Ba Ria - Vung Tau and vice versa:

Route 1: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong → Tan Van → Highway 51 → Ba Ria-Vung Tau and vice versa.

Route 2: Ho Chi Minh City → Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway → National Highway 51 → Ba Ria-Vung Tau and vice versa.

Traffic direction from Lam Dong Province to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and vice versa:

Route 1: Lam Dong → National Highway 20 → Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway → National Highway 51 → Ba Ria-Vung Tau and vice versa.

Route 2: Lam Dong → National Highway 20 → National Highway 1 → National Highway 51 → Ba Ria-Vung Tau and vice versa.

Mr. Duong Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport said that the vehicles transporting goods, transporting workers and experts when entering, leaving and transiting Dong Nai as well as going to Ho Chi Minh City during the quarantine period are not allowed to enter the residential areas to ensure epidemic prevention. Drivers and passengers who only carry a negative test certificate for SARS-CoV-2, transport orders, departure and arrival journeys can travel normally.

The Department of Transport requested the Department of Health to coordinate with relevant units in considering the arrangement of rapid testing points at checkpoints for drivers and people in vehicles who have no SARS test certificates of SARS-CoV-2. Provincial Public Security directs the functional forces to strengthen the inspection of vehicles; arrange specific lane or increase inspection gates to serve the people on those vehicles.
