The Department of Health, the Health Center guides, inspects and supervises the communes, wards and townships to isolate themselves at home, take samples for testing and monitor the health of people returning from Ho Chi Minh City. If a positive case is detected, it must be urgently isolated, quickly traced, localized, and thoroughly suppressed.

The time of home medical isolation for people returning from Ho Chi Minh City is 14 days from the date of arrival in Dong Nai Province and testing is performed 3 times on the 1st, 7th and 13th day during the period. During the self-monitoring period, the quarantined person is required to limit contact with people around, not to participate in activities that gather in large numbers.
