WP - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep has just signed an express official dispatch to departments, branches, units and localities in the province about implementation of the Covid-19 pandemic prevention in the new context.

The Provincial People's Committee asked the leaders of units and localities to continue propagating and strictly implementing the ‘5K Message’ (in Vietnamese): (Khau trang) Facemask – (Khu khuan) Disinfection – (Khoang cach) Distance – (Khong tu tap) No Gathering – (Khai bao y te) Health Declaration; and complying with mandatory masking in public places and on public transport.
For places with frequent crowded activities such as supermarkets, markets, railway stations, schools, hospitals, manufacturing facilities and so forth, it is required for an outbreak prevention plan that meets the requirements, self-equipped means and materials for the pandemic prevention and control, and regular grading and assessment of safety in agencies, units and establishments. Hospitals ought to devise plans to prevent the outbreak from spreading. All cases of cough and fever are subject to prompt checks.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Health to continue to manage, inspect and supervise implementation of the pandemic prevention and control measures in centralized isolation and paid isolation facilities in the province; and propose establishment of a fee-based concentrated isolation establishment in accordance with guidance of the Ministry of Health, ensuring openness and transparency.
The Director of the Department of Health is responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for management and monitoring, to prevent the pandemic from spreading in the community and causing cross-contamination in health facilities; assuming the prime responsibility for, and coordinating with relevant agencies in charge of monitoring and taking specific regulations and procedures for short and long-term entry specialists. For short-term entry cases, it is required to limit gathering in crowded places, not to use karaoke, discotheque and bar services.
The provincial police are responsible for directing and strictly handling violations of the pandemic prevention measures according to regulations.
