In which, more than 80% of the total pig herd is raised by industrial scale.
The reason for the increase in the total number of pig herds is that most of the large-scale breeding units have sufficient safety conditions to ensure the re-herding, ensure the source of breeds to the market. Especially, many large companies in the livestock industry such as CP Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd, CP Vietnam Company, CJ ViNa Agri Co., Ltd ... sublease previous empty farms to continue livestock production expansion.
According to data from Dong Nai Statistical Office, in the first 9 months of 2020, the output of meat and cattle in the province increased compared to the same period last year. Specifically, over the same period, accumulated in 9 months, pork output reached nearly 323 thousand tons, rise 1.2%; beef output reached over 3 thousand tons, up 3.2%; buffalo meat reached 170 tons, grow up nearly 2.8%.
