WP - Dong Nai Customs Department advised that the Covid-19 pandemic has considerably decreased the volumes of exports and imports; and production and business of enterprises in the province. This impact leads to the reduction of import-export tax paid into the state budget.
Businesses has their taxes declined from over 20% to over 66% because of reduced orders unable to submit goods supply contracts. Typically, some enterprises has experienced a large reduction rate such as Hung Nghiep Formosa Co., Ltd. with a decline of 41.5% over the same period in 2019; Hyosung Vietnam Co., Ltd, and Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd with a decline 46.8% over the same period in 2019; CFT Vina Copper Co., Ltd. suffering 51.5% of reduction over the same period in 2019; BOSCH Vietnam Co., Ltd. suffering 65.1% over the same period in 2019. YKK Vietnam Co., Ltd. decreasing 48.2% over the same period in 2019; Cadivi Dong Nai Co., Ltd. decreasing 66.6% over the same period in 2019 and so forth.
Since the beginning of October, enterprises' production and business activities have started to thrive, orders have started to be restored, and enterprises are accelerating for the year-end production season.
