WP- Recently, the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention has taken samples and tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus for 283 Vietnamese citizens coming back from Australia, currently in isolation at the People's Police College II (An Phuoc Commune, Long Thanh District).

Accordingly, on the night of October 29, these citizens landed at Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN5780. After completing the necessary procedures, at 1:30 am on October 30, they were transported to the isolation ward of the People's Police College II. By 4:30 a.m. on the same day, the functional forces finished receiving and distributing the citizens to each room. Among 283 citizens this time are 140 males, 143 females, including 6 children and 57 elderly people.
After the first test results for SARS-CoV-2, those who are positive for SARS-CoV-2 will immediately be transferred to Dong Nai Lung Hospital for monitoring and treatment. As scheduled, by the 13th day of the quarantine, these citizens will continue to be sampled for a second SARS-CoV-2 test. If the results are found negative, they will be certified negative for SARS-CoV-2 by the authorities and allowed to return to their locality and place of residence.
Up to now, the whole province has implemented centralized medical isolation for more than 2,000 cases of entry from abroad.
