WEB PORTAL - According to the People’s Committee of Bien Hoa City, there are 6 resettlement projects are being implemented to serve the resettlement of key projects under the municipalities and provinces of this city, with a total investment of over 2.5 trillion VND.The above projects cover with area greater than 42 hectares.

These projects include: Resettlement Area in Thong Nhat and Tan Mai wards with an area of nearly 9ha; Resettlement Area of Binh Da ward: about 3 ha; Resettlement Area of Tam Hiep ward: nearly 9.5ha; Resettlement Area of Hiep Hoa ward: over 5ha; Resettlement Area in Thong Nhat and Tan Mai 2 wards: nearly 9 hectares; Resettlement Area of Buu Long ward with an area of over 6ha.
The total investment capital of aforementioned resettlement projects exceeds the budget balance of Bien Hoa City. Therefore, the People’s Committee of Bien Hoa City has proposed the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) to consider providing additional funding for the city to quickly implement resettlement projects to ensure the land fund to arrange resettlement for key projects.
Concerning this issue, Chairman of PPC Cao Tien Dung said that Dong Nai will allocate capital to Bien Hoa City for site clearance and technical infrastructure construction of resettlement areas, serving the relocation of households whose land has been acquired, and early handover of clean ground to project developers. Therefore, in the coming time, Bien Hoa City must prioritize its resources, speed up compensation and site clearance progress of such projects. Due from the beginning of 2020 up to now, Bien Hoa City has low spending on capital construction, which means that projects are implemented slowly, which will greatly affect the socio-economic development of the city and provinces.
