These things created a solid foundation for the friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Particularly for Dong Nai, the historical proof for the friendship with the Russian Federation is Tri An hydropower plant project (in Vinh Cuu district) built with financial and technological support of the Soviet Union.
