Industrial Revolution 4.0 will continue to strongly and widely impact on all aspects of life; Non-traditional security challenges, particularly climate change, are increasing in both impact and intensity; epidemic diseases becomes more complicated, especially COVID-19 epidemic, etc.
Dong Nai is also facing many difficulties from climate change; low quality of human resources; pressure of the industrial revolution 4.0; difficulties in developing infrastructure, employment, housing, medical services, education and solving environmental pollution, etc.
In fact, the pressures that Dong Nai is facing is also the reverse side of the development process. To move towards a sustainable development, the first thing is to gradually get rid of the pressures mentioned above. This requires the participation of the whole political system, in which the first thing is to build a new development strategy, consistent with the rapid change of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 as well as the development trend in the future.

Dong Nai also implements the planning of the province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 in accordance with the Planning Law in order to improve the efficiency of the management and use of public investment capital, accelerate implementation of investment projects, especially important national projects and key projects.
