On the afternoon of October 04, the Department of Health held a ceremony to receive 30 thousand medical protective suits presented by the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam -Dong Nai Branch in order to serve the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province.

presented a symbolic board of 30 thousand medical protective suits to Mr. Phan Huy Anh Vu, Director of the Department of Health.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Wu Ming Ying, Chairman of the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam-Dong Nai Branch said that in response to the call for funding for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, over the past time, the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam-Dong Nai Branch has had many practical works to join hands with the province to soon repel the epidemic. The enterprises are aware of their community responsibility when doing the business and production on the land of Dong Nai. Only when the epidemic is well controlled, the enteprisese can return to their normal operations. On the contrary, if the epidemic is still complicated, the enteprisese cannot produce and do their businesses, affecting the development of enterprises, jobs and incomes of the employees.
Mr. Wu Ming Ying thanked the medical teams, doctors and frontline forces of Dong Nai Province in the past time, who have not been afraid of difficulties, hardships and dangers to rush to the frontline to fight against the epidemic in order to protect health for everyone.
It is known that, in addition to 30,000 medical protective suits worth more than VND898.6 million in this time, the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam-Dong Nai Branch previously donated 110 ICU (Intensive Care Unit) beds worth VND03 billion to the Thong Nhat General Hospital, 08 high-end ventilators worth more than VND08 billion for the Thong Nhat General Hospital and Dong Nai General Hospital.
The Director of the Department of Health would like to thank the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam-Dong Nai Branch for the support of the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in the province. At the same time, the Department will allocate medical protective suits to medical staffs in order to ensure safety while performing their duties.
