Promptly review Funding and Support vulnerable people impacted by COVID-19

Web Portal - The Chairman of Provincial People's Committee (PPC) just sent a document to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA); People's Committees of districts and cities to urgently review and synthesize name list and funding to support people facing difficulties caused by COVID-19 in the locality (eligible but not yet resolved), and submit to PPC’s Chairman (through DOLISA) for consideration and decision under regulations, and must be completed before October 10, 2020; Any locality that delays in consulting must bear its responsible to the PPC’s Chairman; For the cases ineligible for support, there must be a response in writing in order to limit the situation that businesses and people have repeatedly reflected and petitioned.

 

 

Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and cities must urgently complete the payment for the subjects approved by the PPC’s Chairman for the list and funding as prescribed (for cases that have not yet paid). Meanwhile, the PPC’s Chairman assigned the DOLISA’s Director to urge the People's Committees of districts and cities to review and synthesize name list and funding to support people facing difficulties caused by COVID-19 under current regulations that must ensure openness, transparency, anti-duplication. After receiving all documents from those Chairmen, the DOLISA’s Director is responsible for checking and reviewing and submitting to PPC’s Chairman for consideration and decision under regulations. The document clearly states that, after October 10, 2020, the DOLISA will not receive and resolve any overdue documents from districts or cities. The results must be reported to the PPC’s Chairman before October 20, 2020.
