From July 20 to August 23, Bien Hoa City, Long Khanh City, Vinh Cuu District, and Trang Bom District will conduct the pilot measure of F1 isolation at home to actively reduce the workload for centralized isolation facilities and reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

People in the pilot plan are those who identify as F1; Those who are in concentrated isolation for a full 7 days, have negative RT-PCR test results, wish to be transferred to home isolation.
The period of home isolation is 14 consecutive days from the date of starting the isolation; Those who have been isolated for 7 days must continue to isolate for another 7 days, then continue to monitor their health for the next 14 days.
Places of home isolation are individual houses, apartments in collective areas, apartment buildings with separate isolation rooms, closed and separate from the family's common areas; In front of the house, there is a signboard "medical isolation place for Covid-19 prevention and control"; have a trash can containing infectious waste and must be labeled "Waste containing the risk of SARS-CoV-2" to store the personal protective clothing of medical staff discarded; Fully equipped with personal protective equipment.
In particular, the isolation room has a toilet, a private bathroom with enough personal hygiene tools, antiseptic solution, a temperature measuring device, a table in front of the door to provide food, drinking water and other essential supplies. In the isolation room, there is a yellow waste container with a lid to store infectious waste, including masks, tissues to wipe the nose and mouth; there are other daily-life waste containers... It is strictly forbidden to bring items and belongings of the quarantined person out of the house.
Persons in medical isolation must strictly abide by the regulations on isolation time at home and commit to the authorities; do not leave the room during the isolation period, do not come into contact with people and pets; self-measure body temperature, monitor health and update daily on VHD or Bluezone application. Collect samples at least 3 times on days 1, 7 and 14.
For people living in the same house who have not been in contact with the quarantined person, limit going out when not necessary. In case F1 is a child or an elderly and weak person with an underlying medical condition that needs someone to take care of and support, it is allowed to stay with F1.
