According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Son, Head of the Working Group of the Ministry of Health, through working in Dong Nai from July 3 to now, the working group realized that Dong Nai needs to further promote the effectiveness of COVID-19 teams in the community associated with the responsibility of local government. In addition, it is necessary to step up testing work, increase machinery and human resources to return test results faster in order to detect F0 cases who are still outside the community.
In order to reduce the risk of disease transmission in Industrial Zones, the province should have regulations that require all businesses to perform rapid tests for their employees; arrange the option "3 things on the spot" or "1 road, 2 stops" to reduce the risk of disease spread into the Industrial Zones
Regarding treatment, the province should equip with more machines and equipment to serve the treatment, so it is advisable to build a treatment center for severe COVID-19 patients located at an isolated temporary hospital to avoid cross-contamination in medical examination and treatment establishments. The province also should direct the health sector to improve its treatment capacity. The Ministry of Health will provide some types of machinery to the province, but the quantity is limited.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung thanked and acknowledged the contributions of the Working Group of the Ministry of Health to Dong Nai Province in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic. Provincial leaders will direct relevant departments and agencies to overcome limitations to carry out epidemic prevention and control in the near future, paying special attention to handling the outbreak in Bien Hoa City and Chang shin Vietnam Co., Ltd.
