Order Suspension of Non-Essential Businesses for COVID-19 Prevention and Control

WEB PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a official document to its agencies, branches public service agencies, state-owned enterprises, districts and municipalities to intensify the implementation of measures to prevent and control COVID-19.


In particular: Director, Heads of departments, agencies, unions; Members of the Provincial Steering Committee, Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and cities shall focus on directing the prevention and control of this epidemic, ensure no neglect occurs.

 

All people shall actively and strictly implement measures to prevent and control COVID-19: Wearing a face-mask while out-and-about on public transport, in shops and in crowded places; Keeping distance from others; Regularly washing hands properly with soap and antiseptic solution; Cleaning the workplace and accommodation according to instructions of Health Department.

 

Concentrated and unnecessary religious activities must be restricted under the direction of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs in Document No. 607/TGCP-VP of July 30, 2020; Online religious activities are encouraged.

 

Temporarily suspending of festivals, conferences and seminars which are not really necessary; Encouraging the application of online conferences and meetings; For events that really need political or socio-economic purposes, they must be decided by the Party committees and local administrations and must apply measures to prevent and fight infections such as: Wearing masks, washing & disinfecting your hands, sitting spaced apart; carrying out medical supervision; Temporarily suspending operation of non-essential service establishments: Clubs, dicsco bars, karaoke bars.

 

For agencies, offices, factories, production and business establishments: Fully implement measures to prevent and control epidemics for workers: Measure body temperature, wear masks, wash hands with antiseptic handrub; Strictly require persons who are quarantined to strictly follow medical isolation measures under the guidance of Health Department, especially those who come or return from the epidemic-affected localities.

 

Department of Health is the ‘focal point’ which will deploy, guide, implement prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic in the province, specifically as follows: To direct health facilities to increase manpower, coordinate with concerned agencies and unions in timely detecting, preventing, quarantining, zoning and thoroughly treating outbreaks as soon as they appear in the province; Make sure those objects come from or return from epidemic localities, cities and surrounding areas for appropriate isolation measures; The provincial police must strengthen its inspection, review and strictly handle cases of giving false, untrue information about the Covid-19 epidemic which causing confusion in public opinion.

 

The Provincial Market Management Department is responsible for inspecting the business, preventing the shortage of goods, price fever for medical masks, antiseptic solution for the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic; The Department of Education and Training must have good plan to organize high school graduation exams while ensuring the safety of COVID-19 epidemic prevention; Dong Nai Department of Information and Communications, Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai Radio & Television shall promote information, propagate the situation and disease situation, provide information on epidemic prevention and control measures such as: Wear masks in crowded public spaces; avoid non-essential meetings; regularly wash hands with soap and antiseptic solution, etc.

 

For People's Committees of districts and cities: Strengthen the propaganda so people do not neglect, not in an off-guard/unwary state; Fully comply with the regulations on prevention of Covid-19; Mobilize people to promptly notify local authorities of cases of arrival or return from epidemic areas or illegal entry for timely handling measures; To direct the People's Committees of communes, wards and townships to strictly manage residential and home quarantined people, ensuring their compliance with quarantine. Those who fail to comply with the regulations on medical isolation shall be sanctioned in accordance with current law; Urgently review local epidemic prevention and control plans and plans to ensure they meet epidemic prevention and control requirements in the new context.
