Urban industry

To this moment, Long Thanh district has 5 industrial zones in operation, 1 industrial park and 3 industrial zones are implementing compensation for site clearance and infrastructure improvement.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Thanh district, Mr. Vo Tan Duc said that the industrial zones in the district include diversified industries, focusing on industries with development advantages in the future, including: supporting industries, mechanical engineering creating, logistics and handicraft.

According to the Chairman of the District People's Committee, the locality has many advantages for industrial development, attracting many investors thanks to the convenient transportation system with the provinces in the Southern key economic region; Seaports such as Cai Mep - Thi Vai, Go Dau, Phuoc An and Long Phuoc port cluster are being invested to increase their capacity.

To promote its industrial advantages, Long Thanh district is speeding up the progress of approved infrastructure of zones and industrial complexes; implementing supportive measures such as: implementing connected infrastructure projects, creating an open investment environment through administrative reform, solving difficulties for businesses, applying mechanics to each cluster industry and the formation of neighboring logistics warehouses.

Exploit the airport's advantages

The characteristics of industrial parks and industrial complexes in the area of Long Thanh district are evenly distributed in communes along the axis of National Highway 51 and Road 769 from Long Thanh town to the airport. This is an advantage for the locality to form industrial cities along Long Thanh airport. The development planning project of the district in the coming period is also divided into 5 economic development regions. These are: region 1 is the extended Long Thanh town, region 2 is Binh Son urban and the industrial north, region 3 is Phuoc Thai urban area, region 4 is Long Thanh airport area and region 5 is Southern combined industry.

The economic zones of Long Thanh district will be connected by a circular transport system. In which, the external routes are: provincial road 769, road 773 (Long Thanh - Cam My - Xuan Loc), newly built road 778 (Bac Son - Long Thanh) and road 769D (25C connecting route from Nhon Trach to the yard) fly).
