Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai CPC Ton Ngoc Hanh works with Phuoc Long, Phuoc Binh wards

On the morning of May 2, at the hall of the Phuoc Long ward People’s Committee, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai City Party Committee (CPC), and Chairwoman of the City People’s Council, together with members of the CPC’s Working Group 661, had a working session with the Party Committees of Phuoc Long and Phuoc Binh wards. The session reviewed the implementation of tasks in the first quarter of 2026 and discussed key projects aimed at promoting local socio-economic development.

The working delegation also included members of the Standing Board of the CPC: Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee; Ha Anh Dung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; and Duong Minh Dung, Head of the CPC’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, along with leaders of relevant departments, agencies.

At the session, representatives of Phuoc Long and Phuoc Binh wards reported that the two wards are implementing key projects, including the planning of the Ba Ra Mountain urban, service and eco-tourism area; the project to build a bridge over Thac Mo Lake to enhance regional connectivity; and investment in the construction of Son Ha 01 and 02 industrial clusters.

In parallel, the two wards are focusing on cultural, historical, and environmental projects, including the restoration of the Ba Ra Prison historical site and the female General Nguyen Thi Dinh memorial site; investment in the renovation of the Ba Ra Mountain martyrs’ memorial site; and the project to build a municipal solid waste treatment plant serving communes and wards in the former Phu Rieng and Phuoc Long districts.

Regarding implementation progress, representatives of the two wards are closely coordinating with functional agencies on planning and land fund preparation. At the same time, they have requested that competent authorities promptly adjust bauxite planning and allocate resettlement land to facilitate the next steps of implementation.

Addressing urgent requirements related to investment procedures and processes, Le Truong Son, Member of the Standing Board of the CPC and Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, called on departments, agencies, and the two wards to step up their efforts in planning and guaranteeing land availability. He particularly stressed the need for adaptable solutions to place these projects in the priority investment category and accelerate implementation progress.

Concluding the session, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the CPC, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai City People’s Council, emphasized the historical significance and importance of these projects to the socio-economic development of the two wards in particular and Dong Nai City in general.

To accelerate progress, Ton Ngoc Hanh requested that relevant units uphold their sense of responsibility, focus on planning, and promote administrative reform and the disbursement of public investment capital. The implementation process must follow a clear roadmap with clearly defined workloads and deliverables, ensuring these projects are put into operation on schedule to effectively serve the city’s socio-economic development in the new phase.
