Dong Nai City to host seminar on private sector development

Accordingly, the Dong Nai Business Federation is expected to organize a seminar in June under the theme “The private sector embraces new opportunities with Dong Nai City.” The event will bring together leading economic experts, major corporations and enterprises investing in Dong Nai, representatives of business organizations from the Southeast region, as well as leaders of Dong Nai City, local enterprises, and industry associations.

The seminar aims to discuss policies to support the business community in adapting to Dong Nai City's new urban management structure and in optimizing specific economic development policies. It will also affirm the role of the private sector as the “backbone” of the new city’s economy, while proposing solutions to support enterprises in transitioning from traditional production models to urban economic models, high-value services, and high-tech industries, as well as developing networks of enterprises in support services, logistics, and tourism. In addition, the seminar will further highlight the potential and advantages of Dong Nai City.

The seminar will also discuss solutions to strengthen coordination and mutual support between urban authorities and the business community, while providing a platform to exchange views, reflect on difficulties and obstacles, put forward recommendations, and propose measures to remove bottlenecks for enterprises.

According to the Dong Nai Business Federation, amid fluctuations in global supply chains, local enterprises are facing the challenge of balancing production costs while maintaining competitiveness. A quick survey of member businesses and associations showed that enterprises have proactively optimized energy use, sought alternative raw material sources, and accelerated digital transformation to ease cost pressures.

In the coming period, as the representative voice of the business community, the Dong Nai Business Federation will continue to serve as a bridge between authorities and enterprises, and provide constructive policy feedback. At the same time, it will coordinate with relevant units to identify solutions to help businesses access green credit for emission-reduction projects and to support member enterprises in obtaining bank loans through more favorable, flexible mechanisms.
