On August 3, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Unit in coordination with the People's Committee of Dinh Quan held a groundbreaking ceremony to build Thanh Son bridge connecting Ngoc Dinh commune with Thanh Son commune, Dinh Quan district. Attending the ceremony were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Ho Thanh Son.

The newly built Thanh Son Bridge includes 6 span prestressed reinforced concrete beams. The bridge is more than 198m long, 9m wide, of which the deck is 7m wide.
The total investment in Thanh Son bridge construction is more than 138 billion VND, of which construction cost is over 91 billion VND, compensation, support and resettlement cost is over 15.6 billion VND. Project implementation period is from 2020-2024.
According to People's Committee of Dinh Quan district, Thanh Son commune was established in 1994, most of the area is forest and separated by the Dong Nai river system. Movement and circulation of goods, economic production and people's lives face many difficulties. In 2016, Thanh Son suspension bridge was invested and built, but the bridge is small in scale to only serve the circulation of motorcycles and cars with a tonnage of less than 2 tons. Therefore, in order to circulate goods, people still have to depend on ferry routes 107. Therefore, the construction of Thanh Son bridge is extremely important to the local socio-economic development and contributes to traffic connection section in the district.
