According to data from the Provincial Bureau of Statistics, from the beginning of the year until now, input costs in agricultural production, including prices of fertilizers, agricultural materials, and prices of animal feed, etc. have all increased simultaneously. In particular, the price of fertilizer has increased by about 50 - 70% depending on the product compared to the beginning of the year. The reason for the increased prices of these items is partly due to transportation costs, especially costs for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Import turnover of these items in recent years has also decreased, specifically in the first 7 months of the year, the import turnover of pesticides is more than 1,268 tons, decreased by nearly 21% compared to the same period last year; the import turnover of animal feed and raw materials in July has decreased by nearly 10% compared to the previous month due to slow demand for the consumption of animal feed products. Accumulated in the first 7 months of the year, the total output of animal feed production in the province reached nearly 2,259 thousand tons, decreased more than 4.2% compared to the same period last year.
