The Government Office has just issued a document conveying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in supplying the goods to the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Health, Transport and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities.
Accordingly, the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic continues to be complicated in some localities and infection chains continue to appear in supply and distribution activities at distribution centers, wholesale markets and food gathering points, etc, leading the risk of spreading on a large scale and hard to control. Therefore, the Ministry of Industry and Trade shall assume to be responsibile for coordinating with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport on urgently reviewing regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control for the supply and distribution system to have the appropriate direction and guidance.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade, the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities strengthen the direction, inspection, rectification and strict implementation of the epidemic prevention and control measures in order to ensure safety in each stage of the entire supply and distribution system; especially wholesale markets, goods gathering points for inter-provincial circulation.
