Four groups of commodity having the increased consumer price index in August 2021

Among 11 main commodity groups, there are 4 groups of goods with increased consumer price index compared to the previous month. Specifically, the group of food and food services increased by 1.47%; the group of beverage increased by 0.52%; the group of drugs and medical services increased by 0.02%; and the group of education increased by 0.02%.  

Meanwhile, there are 6 commodity groups with decreased consumer price index compared to July. In particular, the group of housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials decreased by 0.43%; the group of equipment and household appliances decreased by 0.04%; the group of transportation decreased by 0.19%; the group of post and telecommunications decreased by 0.14%; the group of culture, entertainment and tourism decreased by 0.03%; the group of other goods and services decreased by 0.24%.    

For the gold and USD consumer price index, the consumer price index of gold in August 2021 decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month; the consumer price index of USD also decreased by 0.24% compared to July.
