The Management Council of Provincial Environment Protection Fund has agreed to amend the list of works and projects eligible for loans.
The Industrial wastewater treatment works get loans from
the Environmental Protection Fund
The revised list includes 10 kinds of projects, reducing 5 kinds of projects compared to the old regulations. These are: construction of waste water and exhaust gas treatment works; collecting, transporting and treating the ordinary solid waste; the hazardous waste treatment; treating and renovating the polluted environmental areas; responding and handling the oil and chemical spills and other environmental incidents; building the technical infrastructures for environmental protection in the Industrial Zones or Industrial Clusters and craft villages; relocating or changing the operations of facilities causing the serious environmental pollution; the environmental monitoring; manufacturing and importing the specialized machinery, equipment and vehicles to directly use in the activities of the waste treatment, environmental monitoring, analysis and treatment of environmental pollution; and manufacturing the products from recycling and waste treatment activities recognized by competent state agencies.
The lending interest rate for the projects with measures to secure loans by bank guarantees is 2.6% per year and the lending interest rate for the projects with measures to secure loans by assets is 3.6% per year.
