Some contents were added in the registration of Vehicles Identification Card with QR codes

The Department of Transport has just supplemented documents with some contents related to means of identification of registration papers with QR codes.

In order to continue implementing convenient solutions for transport units in the registration of vehicle identification papers with QR codes to be prioritized to operate on transport "green lane" in the provinces and cities applying Decree No. 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister; The Department of Transport proposed the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; The Industrial Zones Authority shall, according to its management competence, act as the focal agency to receive the list of means of company registration and experts of enterprises.

The Department of Transport will base on the list of vehicles collected by the focal agency and issue the identification certificates on the system of the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam for the vehicles transporting the workers and experts working in the enterprises.

Vehicles registered for issuance of identification certificates are trucks, tractors, container trucks and specialized vehicles transporting all kinds of goods, including: essential goods mentioned in Document No. 4349 / BCT - TTTN dated July 21, 2021 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on goods and service elements; other essentials stuffs under the direction of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities; Goods serving production and business activities are not stopped or banned under the direction of the People's Committee of the province, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 disease prevention and control of the province or city directly under the Central Government.

Regarding the agency receiving registration of identification certificate, including: for vehicles that have been issued with badges, the receiving agency is the Department of Transport of the province, city, where the transportation company has business (the Department of Transport issues the badges); For vehicles without badges, the receiving agency is the Department of Transport of the province or city of destination (place of unloading the goods, drop the passengers), or the website of Directorate for Roads of Vietnam at the address luongxanh.drvn.gov.vn.
