The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just approved the policy for the Department of Health to implement the reception, storage and usage of COVID-19 vaccines in the province in the 5th phase of 2021 (the 14th, 15th and 16th phase of the Ministry of Health) for the following specific subjects: people aged 79 years and older; veterans; the frontline forces of epidemic prevention; teachers, laborers working at educational and training institutions; vaccinating 2nd and additional doses for cadres, civil servants, public employees and laborers in the political system; religious dignitaries; workers of production and business establishments, enterprises inside and outside the Industrial Zones applying the principle "3 on the spot" from 500 people or more (based on the number from top to bottom) and provide against vaccine wastage.
The Department of Health is responsible for organizing vaccination to ensure the right beneficiaries and allocated targets; coordinating with agencies, units and localities in implementing relevant contents to complete the vaccination safely and to ensure under the regulations; at the same time, well implementing the measures for prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic as recommended by health authorities.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the heads of departments, branches, mass organizations, related agencies and units, chairpersons of People's Committees of Districts and Cities to coordinate with the health sector to organize the implementation of the 5th phase vaccination campaign in 2021 in order to achieve good results and ensure the progress according to the proposed plan.
