According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, in the whole province, there have been 11 projects of waste treatment in operation with a capacity of about 12 thousand tons per day.
Domestic waste treatment in Vinh Cuu District
In which, the domestic waste is more than 3.3 thousand tons per day; the ordinary industrial waste is more than 4.5 thousand tons per day; the hazardous waste is nearly 4.2 thousand tons per day.
Currently, there are 3 projects of waste treatment areas under the implementation of construction investment procedures: the project of the Dong Xanh Company, the project of the Long Thanh Green Environment Company and the project of waste treatment to generate electricity. It is expected that these 3 projects will be completed and put into operation before 2025.
