Dong Nai aims for two eco-industrial parks by 2030

Tuesday - 02/06/2026 20:38
According to the Dong Nai Economic and Industrial Zones Authority, it is implementing a plan to transform industrial parks toward an eco-industrial and sustainable model.

Dong Nai aims to have at least two certified eco-industrial parks by 2030, with all enterprises and infrastructure developers in these parks receiving information on green transition and innovation. In addition, at least 10% of enterprises will adopt cleaner production practices and improve resource efficiency, while 90% of industrial parks will implement energy-saving solutions. All industrial parks are also required to complete broadband telecommunications infrastructure to support the development of smart factories.

During the 2031–2050 period, Dong Nai will replicate and scale up the eco-industrial park model, promote industrial symbiosis, increase the use of renewable energy, and strive to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

Priority solutions include attracting high-tech foreign direct investment projects, developing digital infrastructure, data centers, and 5G networks, together with implementing green financial mechanisms to support the transition.
