In the second phase of 2025, 28 products citywide were evaluated and recognized under the OCOP program, including three mango-based products of Thuan Huong Production Trading Co., Ltd., which were granted 4-star OCOP status. To encourage OCOP entities, the Department of Agriculture and Environment organized a ceremony to present OCOP certificates to qualified entities in accordance with Decision No. 125/QD-UBND dated January 14, 2026, issued by the Dong Nai City People’s Committee.

The Trade Connection Conference, linking agricultural production and trading enterprises, aims to provide active, timely support to facilities, businesses, and cooperatives engaged in the production and trade of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products in Dong Nai City. The event also introduces the city’s potential, promotes its image, and showcases key products, safe products, OCOP products, and local specialties. At the same time, it creates opportunities for production and processing enterprises to connect directly with distributors and exporters to expand into new consumption markets and find new customers.

On this occasion, representatives of production and processing enterprises and cooperatives signed memoranda of understanding with distribution systems, supermarkets, and commercial centers in the city to strengthen cooperation based on the capacities and practical needs of each party. The cooperation aims to connect the production, supply, and consumption of agricultural products that are safe, high-quality, certified by state management agencies, and fully traceable.

Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment Le Thi Anh Tuyet emphasized that, within the framework of the Dong Nai City Golden Cashew Festival 2026, the City People’s Committee coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai Cashew Association, and relevant agencies to organize the Trade Connection Conference linking agricultural production and trading enterprises, along with the One Commune One Product (OCOP) certification ceremony for the second phase of 2025. The conference created opportunities for OCOP entities and enterprises in Dong Nai City to access and explore distribution channels for agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products to retail distribution systems both inside and outside the city. The event also served as a forum for businesses and investors to explore investment opportunities in the production and trade of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products in Dong Nai.

The OCOP program has created important momentum for deep processing, product diversification, and brand building. To date, the city has 451 OCOP products with valid certification, produced by 274 production entities. Of these figures, 89 products hold 4-star OCOP status and 11 hold 5-star OCOP status.
