According to the Department of Industry and Trade, as of August 23, 2021, there are 156 enterprises located outside the Industrial Zones in the province that are implementing the "3 things on the spot", "1 route, 2 stops" and execute both options at the same time.
In which, there are 100 enterprises implementing the "3 things on the spot" option to maintain production and business activities with a total number of staying employees of nearly 8,600 people; 53 enterprises implemented the plan "1 route, 2 stops" with the total number of employees participating nearly 4,700 people; 3 enterprises applying the two options mentioned above at the same time have a total number of 659 employees.
In Dong Nai Province, there are nearly 44,000 enterprises applied for their establishments on the National Business Registration Portal. Particularly, the number of employees working in 1,881 secondary enterprises in 32 Industrial Zones is more than 610,000 people. The production and business situation of enterprises in general does not have many difficulties in terms of orders and materials as in 2020, but they are facing many difficulties because of the increasingly complicated epidemic situation, the increasing cost of epidemic prevention and control, labor shortage due to lockdown, medical isolation areas and difficulties in transporting materials and goods.
