Ceremony of Anniversary 230 years of the National Day of the Republic of France

 Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Son Hung presented flowers to Mr.Vincent Floreani, Consul General of the French Republic in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Mr. Vincent Floreani, Consul General of the French Republic in Ho Chi Minh City; Vice Chairman of People's Council Nguyen Son Hung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung; Deputy Head of the provincial Commission for Propaganda, Pham Tan Linh attended.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung emphasized that over the past four decades, Vietnam-France relations have developed strongly and extensively through many stages. In Dong Nai, France ranked 12/47 countries and territories with total investment in the province with a registered capital of over 144.8 million USD. Dong Nai also established cooperation with 2 French localities. In the field of education, Dong Nai has been selected to introduce French teaching programs to schools from the school year 2002-2003 at 3 primary, secondary and high schools.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung affirmed that the meeting to celebrate the 230th anniversary of the National Day of the French Republic was an opportunity for Dong Nai people to congratulate the prosperous France and to bring the two countries' relations into more depth, more effective.

At the meeting, Mr. Vincent Floreani expressed his emotion and thanks for the sentiment that the people of Dong Nai province gave to the French people; At the same time, the relationship between the two countries has recently made remarkable progress in many fields, especially education and economy. Currently, France is also very interested in the project of Long Thanh International Airport of Dong Nai.
