On the morning of April 06th, Vietnam-France Friendship Association of Dong Nai celebrated the 46th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - France diplomatic relations (1973-2019) and International French Day. Mrs. Jeanne Goffinet, representative of France - Vietnam-France Friendship Association of Paris and Mr. Olivier Rodien, President of Montlucon Association attended.

Chairwoman of the Union of Friendship Associations of the Province Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh awarded the first prize to the contestants who won the Vietnam - France Friendship Painting Competition.
At the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Union of Friendship Associations of the Province Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh looked back on the important milestones in the relationship between the two countries. In Dong Nai, France currently ranks 11th out of 45 countries investing in the province with a capital of 114.8 million USD. Dong Nai has established relations with two regions of France: Rhône - Alpes and Bretagne. In Bien Hoa City, there are 3 schools that teach French language: Nguyen Du Primary School, Thong Nhat Secondary School and Tran Bien High School. In 2018, Dong Nai established the Vietnam-France Friendship Association of Dong Nai to strengthen the relationship between the people of the two countries.
Mrs. Jeanne Goffinet, representative of France - Vietnam-France Friendship Association of Paris introduced us to the the activities of the France - Vietnam-France Friendship Association of Paris and introduced two projects that she would like to be implemented in Dong Nai in 2019, including: French language teaching support for a school in Bien Hoa for about a month organized by French volunteers; the project of longer-term is IT human resource training support, with aid from French enterprises.
President of Montlucon Association Mr. Olivier Rodien also introduced the projects of Montlucon Association in Vietnam and Dong Nai, including support for raising orphants at Hoa Mai Social Assistance Center (Long Thanh district). Mr. Olivier Rodien said that in the upcoming future, he will support students that are studying French bilingual program to attend French summer camp in Montlucon, France.
On this occasion, the Union of Friendship Associations of the Province has held the award ceremony for Vietnam - France Friendship Painting Competition.
