At the session, a representative of the Nhon Trach ward People's Committee reported that in implementing the two-tier local government model, the Nhon Trach ward Party Committee had proactively reorganized its advisory and supporting apparatus into three advisory and supporting bodies and one public service unit under the Party Committee.

Regarding the bloc of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political and mass organizations, the Chairman of the ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee concurrently serves as the head of the bloc and is responsible for overall management, while the heads of the five member mass organizations serve as Vice Chairpersons of the ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and directly oversee their respective specialized movements.

Regarding the government bloc, the Secretary of the ward Party Committee concurrently serves as Chairman of the ward People's Council. The People's Committee comprises one chairperson, two vice chairpersons, three specialized agencies, and one public administrative service center.

Regarding socio-economic development results, the ward is home to five industrial parks that have created jobs for approximately 153,000 workers. In addition, the Phu Thanh and Vinh Thanh small-scale industrial clusters have employed more than 1,800 workers.

The ward Party Committee has established the Steering Committee for compensation and site clearance for key projects. It is currently implementing seven key projects and has completed 100% of the handover for the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway expansion project and the construction project of the new Phuoc Thien High School.

Notably, as of June 4, 2026, Nhon Trach ward had collected more than VND823 billion in state budget revenue, reaching 122% of the annual plan.

To boost economic growth in Nhon Trach ward and achieve a 10% growth target in 2026, the ward is striving to ensure that the annual public investment disbursement rate meets or exceeds the assigned plan, improve the efficiency of managing and utilizing public investment resources, and accelerate the progress of projects under the local public investment plan. Furthermore, the ward will prioritize resource allocation and expedite planning work, thereby creating favorable conditions for completing public investment tasks in 2026, with VND149 billion allocated for 80 projects. The ward aims to complete zoning plans for Areas 1, 2, and 3 in 2026, focusing on planning solutions centered on transit-oriented development (TOD) to attract investment under the compact urban model at transport junctions.

Regarding social housing, three social housing projects in the ward have been put into operation, with a total of 4,042 units.

In implementing the 500-day-and-night peak campaign, Nhon Trach ward has identified five groups of tasks covering discipline and order, innovation in leadership, direction, and management; administrative reform and digital transformation; building a contingent of officials, civil servants, and public employees; socio-economic development, removing obstacles, and unlocking resources; and public and organizational satisfaction. Specifically, the ward is focusing on reviewing and addressing, or creating clear improvements in removing "bottlenecks" and "knots" arising during task implementation; promoting urban beautification; and developing trade and services to increase budget revenue. The ward has registered to beautify three streets, including Ly Thai To, Tran Phu, and Ton Duc Thang.

In addition to the results achieved, the leadership of Nhon Trach ward requested that the CPC and the City People's Committee direct relevant city agencies to consider and resolve eight groups of issues for the ward, including the implementation of transport projects, the development of green corridors in areas adjacent to industrial parks, and investment in additional resettlement areas to support the implementation of key projects in the coming period. The ward also requested that the City People's Committee address long-delayed production and business projects that have expired in accordance with regulations.

During discussions at the meeting, members of the CPC's working delegation proposed several recommendations for Nhon Trach. Among them, the ward must pay close attention to the strict management of public land. Given that Nhon Trach ward has many industrial parks, it should reassess the technologies used by factories and their contributions to the locality. Based on this assessment, a roadmap should be developed to address factories that are labor-intensive, use outdated technology, or cause environmental pollution. In addition, the ward needs to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital.

After hearing the report from Nhon Trach ward's leadership and opinions raised at the session, the Secretary of the CPC acknowledged and highly appreciated the ward's efforts and positive results in recent times. Nhon Trach is one of the exemplary core units among the 99 Party organizations under the CPC.

In the first six months of 2026, Nhon Trach ward not only met but also significantly exceeded many of its targets, with budget revenue reaching 122% of the annual plan serving as a notable example.

Secretary of the CPC Vu Hong Van stated that the ward Party Committee’s Executive Board must continue to promote the spirit of unity, as unity is the strength needed to successfully accomplish all tasks.

The Secretary of the CPC further stated that, in 2025, Dong Nai surpassed the milestone of VND100 trillion in state budget revenue for the first time. In 2026, Dong Nai set a target of VND150 trillion in state budget revenue, with even higher targets for subsequent years. Nhon Trach ward has been identified as one of the growth poles of Dong Nai City. To make a significant contribution to achieving the city's overall development goals, Nhon Trach must clearly define its position and role, exert greater efforts, and fully tap into its potential. The city's agencies and departments are always ready to listen and work with the locality to remove difficulties, laying the foundation for the development of Nhon Trach in particular and Dong Nai City in general.

Secretary of the CPC Vu Hong Van suggested that Nhon Trach must perform planning work effectively to attract high-quality investment projects. It must strictly manage compensation and site clearance to facilitate the early commencement of major projects in the area. Priority should be given to planning resettlement land funds in Nhon Trach. The ward should continue to pursue planning with a long-term vision, using Long Thanh International Airport as the nucleus for planning Nhon Trach ward and fully capitalizing on local advantages. After a year of implementing the two-tier local government model, it is necessary to clearly assess staff quality to address all issues.

In particular, the Secretary of the CPC emphasized that with its local advantages, Nhon Trach must strive to become a comprehensive growth pole.
