Vuong Duc Hoa, Director of Bu Gia Map National Park:
Opportunities for developing eco-tourism and back-to-roots tourism associated with forest conservation

I hope that in the new phase of urban development, Dong Nai City will continue to pay greater attention to investing in infrastructure in remote and isolated areas, particularly border areas such as Bu Gia Map.
Orienting the upgrading of inter-regional transport routes, electricity, telecommunications, clean water systems, and public utility infrastructure will help residents stabilize their livelihoods while creating favorable conditions for the development of eco-tourism and back-to-roots tourism associated with forest conservation.
I hope the city leadership will pay attention to restoring and upgrading the endpoint of the VK96 fuel pipeline during the resistance war against American imperialism in Bu Gia Map National Park. With appropriate investment and restoration, the site could become a “red address” for educating younger generations about revolutionary traditions, while also serving as a highlight in the historical and eco-tourism routes of the Southeast region. Combining revolutionary historical values with the primeval forest ecosystem would help create a distinctive identity for the border area of Bu Gia Map.

As a citizen born and raised in Dong Nai, I am deeply proud to witness its development. In particular, the establishment of Dong Nai City marks an important milestone, opening up new development space for the locality.
Dong Nai City possesses many advantages in strategic transport infrastructure, including Long Thanh International Airport, expressways, seaports, and an inter-regional logistics network. The city is aiming to become a hub for economic, industrial, trade, and service connectivity in the Southern region. I hope these advantages will create more opportunities for businesses to expand investment, develop markets, and enhance competitiveness.
As my business is operating in the city, I am ready to work alongside the local authorities in the process of building Dong Nai into a civilized, modern, and sustainably developed city.
Dang Khanh Nhan, Technical Production Director of Song Hong Tan Co., Ltd. (Long Binh ward):

Dong Nai’s goal of building a modern, dynamic, green, and livable city will not only create momentum for the development of industry, trade, and services but also open up many opportunities for local businesses to improve the quality of their products and services to meet the increasingly high demands of society.
We expect Dong Nai City to continue introducing policies to support businesses, improve the investment environment, promote digital transformation, and advance sustainable development. The business community is committed to accompanying the city’s development, continuously improving service quality, and contributing to building the image of a civilized, modern, and livable Dong Nai.
Le Nguyen Minh Tri, Deputy Head of the Work Board in charge of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union
and Teenagers and Children Affairs (Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai City):
Building a young generation capable of mastering technology
![]() |
Amid the strong development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the establishment of Dong Nai as the country’s seventh city, the younger generation of Dong Nai is expected to become a pioneering, resilient, and creative force that is capable of mastering technology and contributes to building a modern, smart, and sustainably developing city.
This is not only a major opportunity but also places greater responsibilities on the younger generation in the new era. Young people in Dong Nai need to clearly define their role as a source of high-quality human resources by continuously improving their knowledge and skills, particularly in digital technology, foreign languages, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI), digital data, and modern technology platforms in study, work, management, and entrepreneurship.
In a city with strong industrial and technological development, young people must not only be users of technology but also become creators, innovators, and pioneers in digital transformation.
Lieutenant Colonel Dang Quang Hung, Chief of Phuoc Thai commune Police:
Momentum for building a more progressive society

The establishment of Dong Nai as a city has generated great excitement among people, officials, and Party members. This has become an important source of motivation and encouragement, creating favorable conditions for the entire Party organization and people to strengthen their determination to achieve further accomplishments in study, labor, work and combat duties, contributing to the building of an increasingly prosperous and modern Dong Nai and to the country’s overall development in the new era.
As a police officer, I hope the authorities will continue to pay greater attention to the fields of security and national defense with a strategic vision aimed at firmly safeguarding national security and ensuring social order and safety in a flexible and effective manner suited to the new context. At the same time, greater focus should be placed on training and improving specialized and professional skills in each field, contributing to building the Dong Nai Police force into a regular, elite, and modern force.
Nguyen Ngoc Tram, Vice Chairwoman of the Loc Tan commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the commune Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union:
Promoting the pioneering spirit of youth in digital transformation

In my role as a commune Youth Union official, the establishment of Dong Nai as a city is a source of great pride, while also opening up many new development opportunities for the locality and the younger generation. I believe that as Dong Nai develops into a city, people’s living standards will continue to improve, while transport, education, healthcare, and public service systems will become increasingly modern and well-coordinated. In particular, young people will have more opportunities for study, employment, entrepreneurship, and contributions to their homeland.
As a Youth Union official, I am also fully aware of the responsibilities of young people in the new phase. Youth should continue to promote their pioneering role in digital transformation, environmental protection, building a civilized urban lifestyle, and actively participating in movements and activities for local development.
Hoang Thi Minh Thu, a resident in Tan Trieu ward:
Wishing the city will build more public schools
![]() |
I am very pleased and have high expectations for the development of Dong Nai City in the coming period, especially as the locality strives toward the goal of building a modern and civilized city while improving the quality of life for its people. What residents expect most is stronger investment in social welfare sectors, particularly education and healthcare, which should be given top priority. With the rapid pace of urbanization and population growth, demand for education and healthcare services is increasing significantly. Therefore, the city should prioritize the construction of more public schools in residential areas to ensure that workers’ children have access to a quality learning environment, reduce classroom overcrowding, and help ease the financial burden on families. At the same time, greater investment in high-quality public hospitals, modern medical equipment, and a team of highly qualified doctors is also necessary so that residents can access quality healthcare services within the locality.
