Nearly 1,000 Youths and Students Join in Business Start-up Program

On the evening of November 3, VCCI collaborated with Dong Nai People's Committee and Dong Nai Young Entrepreneur Association in holding a business start-up program for nearly 1,000 youths and students.

The national business start-up program has been initiated and hosted by VCCI since 2003. The program is held to give assistance and training to youth who start up their business and provide them with opportunities to communicate with and learn from each other and find their own career paths.

Nearly 1,000 young people attend the business start-up exchange program

It is the first time the program has been held in Dong Nai. It gives the youth in south eastern region a chance to meet with successful experts and businessmen, learn from their experience, and get more information on how to start a business.

This program was attended by outstanding entrepreneurs in the province: Chairperson of Board of Directors of Dofico Nguyen Thi Le Hong, Chairperson of Young Entrepreneurs Association and Chairperson of Thanh Binh Joint Stock Company Pham Duc Binh, Chairperson of Board of Directors of D2D Company Ho Duc Thanh, and Director of Rosa Cuisine and Aesthetics Vocational Training Company Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu.

Having a talk with invited guests

Many young people and students asked invited guests questions concerning such contents as how to establish new career ideas, to shape a successful entrepreneur’s qualities, and to acquire business start-up experience, how to put ideas into reality, and business start-up assistance programs for youth.

Within the exchange program, the Organization Board for Business Start-up Program and Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association signed a cooperation agreement on giving assistance to the business start-up program of Dong Nai’s youth and students.

The agreement noted the approval and support of Dong Nai People's Committee, Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association and pledged to give assistance to the business start-up program and funding to the projects in the province.

Flowers are given to invited guests

Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association announced the birth of Business Start-up Club. The club will be the person to receive business start-up ideas, to share problems of the youth in the process of starting a business, to give direct assistance to feasible business projects.

Under the decision of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association Rosa Cuisine and Aesthetics Vocational Training Company Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu was chosen as the Head of Business Start-up Club.

Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu is one of the entrepreneurs to grow up from a business start-up competition, an activity within the National Business Start-up Program.

Thu’s project on the establishment and development of Rosa Cuisine and Aesthetics Vocational Training Co., Ltd won the first prize in the Business Start-up Competition 2006.
