At the working session, the representative for Dong Nai’s mission and the leadership of Vietnam Trade Representative discussed issues concerning trade and investment cooperation opportunities in some areas: small industries, and environmental treatment, and so on between Australia and Dong Nai.

Vietnam’s Commercial Counselor in Australia Nguyen Bao provided the mission with the information that they are interested in and promised that the Trade Representative Office would assist Dong Nai’s small-and-medium-sized companies in seeking for market, signing product making and sale contracts, and calling for Australian investors to invest in the fields of waste treatment and biotech application in agriculture and environmental protection in the province.

On the afternoon of the same day, Dong Nai’s mission attended Australian-Asian Waste and Recycling Expo.

On this occasion, the mission called for a number of Australian businesses to invest in the field of household and industrial waste treatment and recycling in Vietnam.
