Dong Nai’s Trade and Investment Promotion Mission Pays a Working Visit to Australia

November 9, 2011, to implement a program to promote co-operation, investment, production, and trade activities with Australia  Dong Nai’s Trade and Investment Promotion Mission led by Vice Chairperson of People's Committee Tran Van Vinh and the leadership of some departments, sectors, and companies traveled to Australia on business for many days.

On the afternoon of the same day, at 3:00 p.m (local time) or 11:00 a.m (Vietnamese time) Mr. Tran Van Vinh and the leadership of Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Department of Science and Technology, and Dong Nai Industrial Zone Authority paid a courtesy visit to the General Consulate of Vietnam in Australia, discussing trade research, implementation, and cooperation between Australia and Dong Nai.

Both sides agreed upon the mission’s upcoming work program during its stay in Sydney: discussing and exchanging ideas to decide on a cooperation program between Australian Trade Representative and Dong Nai, paying a visit to Australian-Asian Expo, sharing experience with Australia’s leading companies in the field of waste treatment and recycling, holding a seminar to introduce investment potentials into Dong Nai to Australian and Australian Vietnamese businessmen, and signing contracts on trading agricultural products, small industry products such as cashew nuts, bamboo and rattan, art wood, and waste treatment.

Then, the mission went on a tour of Sydney, getting ready for a two-day work schedule (from November 10 to 11, 2011).
