Two Other New Outbreak Areas of Blue-Eared Pig Disease Confirmed

    Up to now, the province has six communes involved with the blue-eared pig epidemic including Tan Vinh (Vinh Cuu district), Bac Son, Song Trau (Trang Bom district); Bau Can, Tam An (Long Thanh district); Phuoc Thien, (Nhon Trach district); Accordingly, the veterinary sector has destroyed nearly 7,000 untreatable infected pigs.

    While the blue-eared pig epidemic tends to be widely spread out, farmers have no interest in measures on prevention and control yet. If no resolute, timely measure released, new more outbreaks are possible.
