According to some local garden owners, pepper productivity is estimated to reach two to four tons a year, especially for those who apply sci-tech advancements to cultivation, its yield can hit six to seven tons a year, earning a profit of VND100mil to VND300mil/ha after deducting other costs.
As known, Dong Nai has over 8,000 hectares of pepper (ranked 3rd in area nationally) that is much planted in the districts of Cam My, Xuan Loc, Tan Phu and Trang Bom.
